About payment
Harassing me over my deceased father.
My father passed away 3 years and today I get a call asking for him. I mention that he died and ask who's calling and why.
The idiot on the phone can't answer any of my questions, but demands more info from me. I told her bluntly I won't give her any more info until she tells me what this about, but she keeps asking me for the date he passed and my name, etc. She cant even tell me the company name, so I had to call back the number on my phone to find out it's a debt collection agency. I closed out all my father's accounts years ago.
They can't tell me what account this is or close it or literally anything, but they sure will harass you for more info. If they want to spend all their energy trying to get money from a dead man that's on them.

I called them to request a change of payment date as I had an issue resolving with my bank, I tried to call them 3 days prior and was unable to get in contact with them. I tried the next day with no success as it was a holiday, now that I was able to talk with them today there is nothing that they can do as the payment is the is due on the next day.
I informed them that I tried to contact them multiple times with no success and was told that it is not a concern for them. after talking with them for a few minutes I was told that the payment likely wouldn't go through, happy with this we ended the call just for me to receive a call 20 minutes later that the charge will go through as planned because I did not contact them in time. The agent told me to try and borrow money or to try and do a stop payment with my bank. I then called my bank and was informed that they would need 3 days notice prior to the payment date but they would submit a refund claim with the company.
I then called GS Services to inform them of this and they told me that the would reject the request automatically. I wasn't asking them to push the payment out a month just a few days till I get paid so I can get to and from work and be able to get some food... After making the good faith payments and making prior payments on time they are just unwilling to work with me...
I read multiple reviews of various complaints from customers and employees alike... how are these people still in business?
They changed online minimum to $50 with no notice!!!!!

Perhaps you are starting to make payments on your principal? As you reduce your interest and begin paying on principal, the amount of interest paid is less.
